In its coverage of Donald Trump’s recent rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City, MSNBC openly compared it to a Nazi rally from 85 years ago when those in support of Adolph Hitler similarly packed the stadium in what was then called a “pro-America” rally.
“That jamboree happening right now – you see it there on your screen – in that place is particularly chilling because in 1939, more than 20,000 supporters of a different fascist leader, Adolph Hitler, packed the Garden for a so-called ‘pro-America’ rally, a rally where speakers voiced antisemitic rhetoric from a stage draped with Nazi banners,” the MSNBC host said over a livestream of Trump supporters filling the venue.
“When a Jewish protester rushed the stage, The Associated Press reported, “Instantly, a dozen or more Storm Troopers set upon him, knocking him down and beating him as he held his head in his arms … Most of his clothing was torn from his body. Later, he was booked for disorderly conduct.”

The segment goes on to make more claims against Trump and his rhetoric, including the suggestion that he wants to deploy U.S. military troops to round up “immigrants” and deport them from the country.
“Now, against that backdrop of history, Donald Trump, the man who has threatened to use the military against opponents he calls ‘enemies from within,’ who has threatened to use the troops to quell what he says are ‘lawless cities,’ and carry out mass deportations of immigrants, is once again turning Madison Square Garden into a staging ground for extremism.”
In other words, Trump is literally Hitler, according to MSNBC, which is desperately pulling out all the stops to try to convince its viewers not to vote for Trump in November.
Recognizing what the U.S. side of World War II ultimately did to stop Hitler, it only makes sense that what MSNBC is effectively doing is comparing Trump supporters to Hitler supporters in order to convince people that it is okay to eliminate Trump supporters from the equation.
“MSNBC needs to be prosecuted as an accessory to the violent crimes they incite,” wrote someone on X / Twitter in response to the above video.
“I don’t remember the 1939 event being brought up when Taylor Swift last played the venue,” wrote another about the hypocrisy of MSNBC.
Another asked if this is what MSNBC meant when it promised to get better at “toning down the rhetoric.”
“Democrats don’t want to tone down the rhetoric,” another echoed. “They want to gaslight and emotionally manipulate people into voting for Kamala Harris – and they’re willing to do anything and everything to achieve a result.”
Someone else wrote in agreement that MSNBC is clearly and deliberately trying to incite both violence and election interference just days before November 5.
“MSNBC has been on this path for months,” said another. “They know Kamala is losing and they’re desperate.”
Another shared the following video comparing Trump to Kamala:

“This is why so many powerful people are scared to death of Trump,” someone responded to the above video. “He knows the whole situation. He knows who was involved and he knows why it happened. I can only guess, but our hands are dirty. This was domestic terrorism.”
