The financial website 24/7 Wall Street has released the findings of a new study on the “socioeconomic disparities between black and white Americans by congressional districts to identify the worst congressional districts for black Americans,” and Ilhan Omar’s district ranked dead last.
According to the research, based on living-adjusted median household income, unemployment and poverty rates, educational attainment, and homeownership rates, there is no worse place for black people to live in the United States than in Ilhan Omar’s district – which says a lot about this loudmouth’s supposed “advocacy” on behalf of black and brown people.
“Black area residents are about four times more likely to live below the poverty line than white residents and three times more likely to be unemployed,” the study reveals about Omar’s 5th Congressional District in Minnesota. “Disparate outcomes along racial lines in the district are largely the legacy of historic racism.”
“Minneapolis is one of several Midwestern cities that enacted restrictive housing covenants and exclusionary zoning policies in the early 20th century,” the study goes on to explain. “These policies impact residential patterns to this day.”

As it turns out, the four runners-up districts right behind Omar’s, all of which round out the worst places for black people to live in the U.S., are all run by Democrats, the study further reveals. And of the 30 worst congressional districts for blacks in the U.S., 25 of them are run by Democrats.
What this suggests is that Democrats aren’t making the country a better place to live for black people, but quite the contrary: Wherever Democrats hold power, black people are the worst off financially and economically.
“The numbers produce a stark picture of the 5th Congressional District [represented by Omar], which encompasses Minneapolis and several surrounding suburbs,” one local news outlet in Minnesota reported, as quoted by One News Now.
In other words, Omar, who has long claimed to be a champion for “minorities” and other “oppressed” people groups is a fraud, as demonstrated by the fact that black people living in her district are more disenfranchised than others like them living in any other locale in America.
The purpose of the study, of course, was to gauge whether or not what politicians say actually resembles what they do – and it is now abundantly clear that Democrats are good at talking the talk, but not walking the walk.
Americans need to remember statistics like this the next time voting season comes around, and their favorite leftists start flapping their gums about “strengthening communities” and “leveling the playing field.” Because most of the time, they end up doing the exact opposite once in office.
“Even though representatives don’t have full control to implement all the changes they would like in their districts – and keeping in mind that many factors go into the socioeconomic conditions experienced by residents within a congressional district – these elected officials are obligated to fight for a better way of life for their constituents to the best of their ability using the resources at their fingertips,” One News Now reports, noting that Omar in particular has done next to nothing to help people in her own community since beginning her term, even as she’s made it a top priority to push for open borders and special treatment for Palestinians.
“In the midst of inserting herself in the midst of these two ongoing controversies, Omar has seldom been seen on the nightly news addressing, fighting or solving the problems people within her own district face on a daily basis – especially as the leader of the nation’s worst district for African Americans.”
